A semi-successful Entrepreneur (“semi” means we are making money, but are far from what is deemed as “successful”) that loves flying, building things and taking things apart. Like most entrepreneurs, people thought I was crazy to leave corporate to chase down dreams. But my view is...we can change the world to make it better, instead of creating new ways of increasing profitability of an existing company.

Also my fiancee has an awesome photography studio (http://www.ammiewang.com) that I help with more than I should. After meeting so many of the world’s top wedding photographers, I would say she is right there with them. Just she has no time to do the marketing to get the public notoriety. She will only need that when she decides to sell stuff to other photographers, which most of these “famous guys” do when they get tired of weddings. As for proof of my assertion? She has won or placed in the top of every national and international competition she has entered. Her album designs have set record scores. And she has more clients than she can ever handle...booked 18-24 months in advance. Large trendy corporations seek her out for her images and style.

What inspires me is that she remains grounded and approachable. No arrogance. No putting people down. No trying to prove she is better. Nothing of that attitude you get as some camera shops, your average know-it-all, many of these pros or your average Nikon fanatic. The only other photographer with this same way of being is Kevin Kubota (http://www.kubotaimagetools.com/).

Something we can learn from when you are a startup, work for the G-company or the F-Company. Reminds me of the C-company when its stock was splitting every nth week (man I wish I got a few more splits in there myself).
