i've been making pictures for about 16 years now, starting with a canon eos 1000f/n. here on my flickr site, only my digital camera pictures are displayed. these pictures have been made with a canon powershot s30 (which was stolen in 2004, unfortunately) and a powershot s60. good cameras for their size and with plenty of possibilities (the s60 has even got raw export, which i've started using about half a year ago), but in terms of picture quality, they are at quite a distance from the digital slr's of today. i'm still trying to save money to buy me one of those.

having said that, i recently got an iphone 3gs. i occasionally used the camera on my previous phone, a SE K810, and initially found the iphone camera worse than the one on the SE. but thanks to the iphoneography blog (www.iphoneography.com) i discovered the advantages of the iphone as a creative tool, especially by pointing me to some photography apps that challenged me to go out there, take shots, do some simple but powerful editing and enjoy it while doing that.
i find that this magnificent little machine is both helping me in training my photography instincts (seeing pictures in everday events and non-events as well) and is also showing me that creativity really isn't limited by megapixels at all. i'm wondering myself where this will take me but i'm already loving it.

please enjoy my pictures and thanks for leaving notes and pointers!
