A suburban princess leaves her hometown in California for the life of an expatriate in Korea.

I started experimenting with photography while working overseas. Korea was such a different world, a total 180 to my suburban hometown, that I wanted to share the sights with my friends and family.

After purchasing my first camera, I realized that all the nifty dials and buttons wouldn't do me a lick of good unless I learned the basics. So I recently signed up for a beginner's photography course at my local junior college. It's oh-so-humbling.

I shot most of the photos you see here with a Konica Minolta DiMAGE X-1. I hate it and can't wait until I can afford a new camera. For my photography class I'm using an Olympus OM-2, which was released in 1972.

In my spare time I read comic books and bake cakes. I also blog on Wordpress and Vimeo and spend way too much time on the Internet.
