In the former parsonage of the St. Jan church, you can find Museum Tongerlohuys. The monumental building was built in 1762 and belonged to the abbey of Tongerlo. When the last pastors left in 1974, the museum moved in the parsonage.

The collection tells the story of the history of Roosendaal and the regio West-Brabant. The railway and industry were both very important and caused Roosendaal to grown from a small agrarian village into a modern city with 77.000 inhabitants.

The museum also shows modern art and local history in temporary exhibitions. Please visit our website www.tongerlohuys.nl for more information on past and current exhibitions.
