The Fine Print:

I only have one Flickr site, and it's visited by gay men, by my family and relatives, a few church friends, and straight friends. So keep the following in mind:

• You won't be able to post comments here unless you're a "contact" -- My photos are G-rated and comments should be, too (okay, a few "PG" ones are welcome too!).

• Definitions: "Friends" are people who I am genuinely close to for one reason or another. Family includes relatives, in-laws, and the few friends - only three right now on Flickr - whom I count as "adopted" family. Contacts can be almost anybody.

• While I appreciate having contacts, if the content of your site is primarily or overwhelmingly pornographic in nature, or your site has "nothing available to me," you're welcome to add me to your Contacts, but I will not add you to mine. Got it?

• The pressure to be "cool" -- and to be witty -- has become a fact of life on this site and others. Gotta be honest, folks, that's a stressor for me. I am not a member of any other social networking sites, for dating or anything else. I just want to take photos and share them with folks I care about and without worrying about what you think (either way) of my family, lifestyle, religion, physical appearance, or other life choices. If you're turned off by something here, I regret that, but this site is mine, not yours, and there are other "channels" you can tune to. I live my life in a real community, not a virtual one. and it's the former that matters first and foremost to me.
