Mr Tanner (or mtanner) is a name I adopted in the late 1980's from a Harry Chapin song of the same name. The fictional Mr. Tanner's life seemed to parallel mine in various ways. You can follow this link if you are interested in the real Mr. Tanner here or even listen to the song here.

I love to photograph nature and would definitely like to witness a tornado in the first person (Only with camera in hand, of course!) Perhaps hard to believe from a person who's day job is an accountant. I am also a left hander raised in a right-handed world. I am told that explains a lot.

Also, I have "Favorited" over 3,000 photos on this site that I believe are better than just mere favorites. I am still in awe at the talent and technical skills that that are possessed by these photographers. PLEASE take the time to view their art and let them know. And if one of your photos has a dog in it (especially a Doxie!) I am sure to notice it and probably Favorite it.
