Originally from Chicago and now living in Colchester.
Got my first digital (Sony Cyber Shot DSC-S40) in 2006 and upgraded to a bridge (Fuji s8000fd) in 2009. Just over a year later I upgraded again to a Nikon D5000.
My husband and I love castle exploring and have visited many in England, Wales and Scotland, as well as other historical places in the UK.
I've taken an interest in night photography and am working on increasing my abilities in that area.
I've also gotten interested in HDR and Panoramas.
I've learned quite a bit about post processing and have come to understand that taking a good picture is only the first step in displaying a great photograph
