The MS Society of Canada's mission is to be a leader in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality of life.
MS is a neurological disease affecting the central nervous system. It can cause severe fatigue, blindness, chronic pain and paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for MS. Canada has one of the highest rates of Multiple Sclerosis in the world and every day three more people are diagnosed with MS.

The South Vancouver Island Chapter provides support to people affected by MS through programs and services and raises funds for research.
