Matthew Shugart, Professor of Political Science, specializing in elections. Thus the photos include election-related material, such as photos from trips to observe and research campaigns in the UK (2010) and New Zealand (2011).
Many of my photos, especially those posted between 2005 and 2009, are of the many varieties of fruit I grew at my former finca, Ladera Frutal, in southern California. Since 2010, I have lived and grown fruit on a different property, and have posted photos of it through the seasons, as well, but there are fewer fruit varieties here than at the former location.
There are also many general travel photos from various trips posted here, including Israel in 2010 and Ukraine in 2005.
