MSA Museum Society & Trethewey House are a non-profit group dedicated to the collection and preservation of the history and cultures of Abbotsford BC, Canada. We also host several community events throughout the year for the enjoyment of all ages in Abbotsford.
Trethewey House was built in 1920 for the Trethewey Family, a pioneer family in Abbotsford, and the owners of the local lumber mill. The mill, originally on the shore of "Mill Lake" supplied the lumber for the building of the first Sikh Gurdwara in Canada, right here in Abbotsford. The house is furnished with 1920's era artifacts and is open for tours, weddings, photography, meetings, rentals and other functions all year around.
