I love taking pictures and capturing moments in my life. I've been taking pictures since I was a teenager in boarding school in India (16+ years).

During school I got really into photography and brought to India darkroom equipment and setup a darkroom for developing film and prints. I used to love doing all kinds of abstract pictures, double exposures (in the camera and darkroom). These days with everything digital it is much easier to do these types of creative manipulations. All my work is in the digital realm so it is nice that digital cameras are pretty good these days and have given up film cameras a few years back.

Nowadays I like to photograph close portrait type pictures of people in general every day life (within my circle of friends and family). I stopped taking pictures when I came back from India because I didn't have a use for general pictures taken in america and wasn't inspired to take photos.

In recent years I am back again taking lots of photos to share with others through SikhNet.com and MrSikhNet.com

I have always wanted to help create a database of Sikh stock photos because there is such a need for good images to promote the Sikh way of life and have always had a hard time finding good images.

So....with services like Flickr I am trying to share my little slice of life and pictures with others who hopefully will enjoy them.
