I've been flickring for over a year now and have recently been lucky enough to be able to have a Nikon D40 handed down to me from my husband. eNil. Before that my pictures were taken using Neil's hand-me-down camera - a Nikon Coolpix P2. Prior to that I had a Canon Powershot A20 but I wasn't very good! These days there is a definite rivalry between the 'eNils' as we battle for the 'best pic'. Mind you, I still have so much to learn - Neil is very patient with me and doesn't mind repeating stuff about aperture priority which I understand at the time but it quickly goes out of my head!!

My first photos were cat ones as I felt quite safe submitting these! Such lovely comments from people who are generally not criticising the composition just telling you what wonderful cats you have!

Now, cats still figure in my photostream, but as I'm trying to learn more about photography and want to improve so there are different subjects.

Neil and I have one group Ginger cats and we are excited to see new members adding pictures of their beautiful ginger (often known as orange) cats.

I'm finding myself getting more and more addicted to flickr especially with such amazing images to browse through!
