Now, some details about me and my background...

Basic bio: Hairy, well-traveled, literate, wise. Tends to be overly objective, a little 'inhumane' at times, but that stems from wanting to help the whole of humankind, rather than a handful of individuals. Aspire to one day be a world emperor of some kind.

Camera-wise: I currently shoot most of my work with a Canon 550D.

Lenses: I use the Sigma 50mm f/1.4, the Sigma 10-20, and occasionally my Canon 100 or 300mm prime lenses. I am looking to add a Canon 85mm L to my collection, or a 15mm prime, if anyone is feeling generous...

Other than being a photographer, I write a lot -- travel stories, romantic things from my past, and occasionally deep-and-meaningful philosophical stuff -- and for that I have my personal blog. I'm also an editor for a large online technology blog, and I write for a new Best Buy-backed startup.
