I'm currently a 25 yr old who recently graduated from California State University Sacramento with a B.A. in Geography and a certificate in Metropolitan Planning. I was born in Roseville, CA and I am currently living in Folsom as I have for most of my life. As a kid i liked to draw pictures of bridges and buildings, play SimCity, and draw the U.S. freehand, so naturally I'm very much into geography and taking pictures. I enjoy weekend trips to the Bay Area, Tahoe, and state parks, and it's from these trips that I started to get serious about photo taking. I have only been an avid photography for a few years now, working my way up from cheapy no-name cameras to my current Nikon D7000. For the most part, my photographic passion lies in landscapes and cityscapes, but I am known to dabble in street photography, photowalks, and portraiture on rare occasions. I do take photography pretty seriously as I am pretty competitive, and I hate missing good opportunities. More than anything though photography has opened me up to a world of exploration. There is so much to see and do out there, and it should not be taken for granted.

As far as any photographic goals, I really want to make some kind of photo or coffee table book on skylines and skycrapers, of which I would probably start with either Sacramento or San Francisco. I think being a geographer I could also find a way to incorporate some geographic tidbits into the book as well. So if anyone knows of any connections or knows anyone with contacts to get to the top of any downtown buildings, please contact me! I also want to get more into architecture types of shots. I definitely wouldn't mind shooting home. interiors (especially if they have great views ;) )

Besides photography and traveling, I really enjoy listening to music and talking with friends. I enjoy hiking and hope to summit the state's highest peaks. I like computers and gadgets; I practically live on Facebook, iTunes, Amazon.com and Google Earth. I have a passion for weather and climatology and I enjoy watching movies and playing video games as well.
