I'm a 46 year old single man. I was born and lived most of my life in in New York State but have lived in North Carolina since 1997.
2006 has been an exciting year: I lost 123 pounds on Weight Watchers and celebrated with a two-week trip to Australia (Sydney, Cairns, Melbourne, and Tasmania - Freycinet National Park).

In 2008, I sprang for a Panasonic DMC-FZ18 - 8mpix, 18X zoom, image stabilization - I'm still learning how to use it but it's very nifty so far.
A FujiFilm FinePix A210 digital camera - simple, cheap, and old but I like it
A Lexmark X5470 all-in-one printer/fax/scanner
A Samsung SC-D353 mini-DV Digital video camera - I don't have anything on Flickr using this camera but I've uploaded a couple of videos on Catster.
When I got the video camera, I also got a tripod which I can use with the digital camera as well and that's proven to be very useful.
