Just an average Joe that grew up in a sleepy rural community in south western Ontario.

Nature is a big part of my life. I grew up hunting , trapping and fishing.

I love and cherish the simple things in life.

I started photography just after my divorce in 2000 as a hobby . I just purchased a 30D in December and traded in the ELAN7e so I'm still getting used to a digital SLR.

I shoot exclusively in RAW , and put my images through the converter, and usually do adjustments in photoshop.

5 When warranted - Smart sharpen

I do use the different blending modes as well as masks also.
