Spoiler Alert / Joseph Dunphy's photostream

I have something like a blog, a homegroup here on Flickr, on which I talk about some of the images on my photostream.

My focus will, as my nickname suggests, be on discussing movies, offering separate commentary for those who haven't seen the movie and are trying to decide whether or not to do so, and those who have and would like to see somebody do a free form after the fact ramble about it.

These are reviews written by somebody who, while reasonably well educated, is not a movie geek, ones that I hope will be a little less pretentious than those written by a fellow resident of Chicago who once claimed that Iago, the parrot, was a stand-in for Israel, in Disney's Aladdin, which he said could be seen as an allegory about nuclear power. Please.

No strange political or cultural agendas, no fear of being seen enjoying something that others say is too simple or not simple enough, just a sharing of a love (or dislike) of something for what it is. Plus some photos and essays, and grossly amateurish videos of my own, perhaps.
