I'm an water resources engineer and hydrologist who is strugling to become a mere, beginner amateur photographer myself. I'm also a member of Raysoda which is a great gallery for Korean amateur and professional photographers. You can find not many but some of my effort there, too.

With my very amateur photos, I'm also keeping my photo blog. Actually I changed the format and places for my blog several times, and finally got my domain and settled down.
mountainbread [dot] org

You may already recognized the braille in my blog banner above. Yes, it's true that braille is only readable by touch, but the idea that I put that braille (it's mountainbread.org in braille) is to remind us diversity in our human community.

Also, I uses only grayish colors for my blog design, so the color blind (my little son is partially color blinded and a good friend of mine either) can see the same design as the 'non color blind' see. I know these are not perfect at all by any means but I think it's worth trying, at least....

In order to encourage myself not to loose flavor and enthusiasm for photo shooting, I'm participating in some communities like Photoblogs.org, and post my list my photo for PhotoFriday challenge with nickname 'mountainbread'.

    Hijeje says:

"Mountainbread's works are so relaxing and moving, they make me feel like I am actually at the location where they were taken. And because I am not actually at the location, when I look at his photos, they make me wish I were there.
Now I can say that Mountainbread's photos are beautiful, evocative, well composed, and delicious.
Makes me want to be there, cherish and protect."

    Auntie K says:

"One of my all time flickr favorites is Mountainbread’s “Red on Snow” photo. He transforms the often-overlooked signs and wonders in our lives into thoughtful visual and written commentary. A day without Mountainbread is like a day without my glasses. He helps me see the beauty all around me!"
