Morven's photostream

Hello there! I'm Matthew Brown, a/k/a Morven online or Dr. Raven (DJ name). I'm a transplanted Brit living in Anaheim, California (home of Disneyland); my wife's from around here and I've been here for over a dozen years. I'm 35 years old as I write this.

I'm very involved with the Gothic/Industrial scene and a good part of my photostream involves documenting the scene, including both bands and nightclubs. If you're interested in checking out those photos, note that some of the more risqué, fetishy looks seen in the clubs have to be marked Moderate, so you'll have to set your SafeSearch settings to that level or above to be able to see some of them.

Trains are also a big interest and I have lots of railfan photos, mostly from the Southern California area. I'm also into cars and transportation in general, so there's a bunch of those too.

I contribute extensively to Wikipedia as User:Morven.

Warning: bigtime nerd (I work as a UNIX systems administrator).

New photos are with a Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D dSLR and a couple of lenses; I've had Kodak and Toshiba point-n-shoots, and a few film cameras as well.

If you want to use any of my pictures, I'm likely to say "Yes" if you ask, but please ask. I will not jump through hoops unless you pay me; if a simple 'Yes, you may' is insufficient for you, I will not sign releases, contracts, disclaimers or whatever without compensation. Don't expect me to have to do work for you for free.
