I have always been interested in photography, but could never really commit to going out with the sole purpose of taking photos. I like spur of the moment, random things, and am thankful for cell phone cameras to have improved over the years. I'm currently carrying an iPhone 4 for said shots and it's exciting to see the progress of cell phone cameras come this far.

I'm striving for changing the aforementioned as I now have a Canon Rebel XSi (450D) dSLR for attempting to be more professional about it. I also have a Sony DSC-T70 point & shoot that I'll use occasionally. I had a Sony DSC-T70, but gave it to my younger sister so she can start exploring some photography. I will probably pick up another point & shoot in the near future, and it will also be a Canon. Having the iPhone 4 and having it on me always, I will probably not be getting a point and shoot now.

I'm hoping to take some interesting shots, but more importantly, just to learn more and have some fun with photography.
