I love Flickr DNA. :-) Here's a quick way to see my most popular and most recent pictures. There's a shorter one here too. When I love someone's work but find myself insufficiently articulate to comment, I add tags; my rationale is this will increase views via people searching who will leave better comments than I might have. Please let me know if this bothers you and I'll refrain from doing it. I use Flickr's 'Family' group to share some of my in-process work with those who I wouldn't mind getting opinions from.

I started shooting digital pictures in 1997 when I got a QV300 with 1/3 megapixel as a graduation present. Moved from California to Spain, then Germany shooting all the time -- toward the end my first digital camera was held together with glue, duct tape, and a lot of love.

Returned stateside and got a little Olympus (D360L, still have it), finished up school (or so I thought) in Maryland. Saved up my pennies for 2 years (between two jobs and graduate school) and got a D60 SLR - Santa was good to me in 2002. My latest toy is a used F707 I bought second-hand then had the IR filter replaced with clear glass. Since they rolled out the ability to place pictures on a map, I do like geotagging , and you can see some of my geotagged pictures here. A photoGPS followed shortly.

I'll shoot anything that lets me (our cats have learned to swat at the camera but the world doesn't need more cat pictures anyway . . .) Notes, comments, suggestions, constructive criticism always welcome. ;-) If you'd like the short tour of just my favorites click here.

I thought I'd been to a lot of places, then I tried this. The idea that I've got the rest of my life to see the other 90% of it is exciting!

"Mister Morgan Glines, what is there to say about him? Most people drunk dial. But instead of having a phone it looks like this guy has a camera.

His shots are mostly random collections of daily happenings, yet they're all great in their own ways. I always finding his photostream refreshing when I'm looking to view the world through his eye.

He's an excellent friend, a decent photographer, and when he grows up he could make something of himself. Like becoming a steam shovel!"
