Thought of the moment: with all these beautiful photography in flickr, why are there so many kitsch award pictures? The uglier the bigger they are... JM2C

I consider myself still a bloody beginner in all means even if I am into computer graphics since 25 years (thanks to my mentor Frieder Nake, and the laboratories of Heinz-Otto Peitgen and Peter Plath).

Interested much in music, photography (oh, really?), languages, self-improvement, travel, friends, food, smell, touch, thoughts, zen.

About photography: I like composition, and for (nearly) every picture I take I try to cut my mind from the subject and from where I am (no time, no place in my mind), enjoy the scene and shoot when I feel it is right.

Someone asked about equipment. Well not sure if it is that important, but wth, here is a list (not sure if complete):

CANON stuff
5D mark ii,
Primes: 14mm, 35mm, 85mm, 135mm
24mm TS-E
Zoom: 16-35mm

Not using much: 24-70mm, 8mm fish

    Ludovico Caldara says:

"I met Jurgen on usenet, I was surprised by his ability to outstrip all other people I know, he came across intuitive, thinking, brilliant, just like his profile says. After a while I met him for snowboarding: an excellent rider.
Now I see what he can do with a camera and I'm speechless: Jurgen is an eclectic, cogitative, talented, inspiring (and modest) photographer. I just can spend hours looking into his stream."
