An American expat short fiction writer in Japan. I married the most wonderful woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting on April 1st, 2005, and she gave birth to the other two sweetest joys in my life, my sons Musashi (August 15, 2007) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/crayonmusashi) and Kenshin (December 18, 2009)!

An amateur photographer (read 'wannabe'), I am constantly taking (digital) photos with my cell phone (a DoCoMo BlackBerry Bold) and Panasonic Lumix.

Unusual people & spots, temples/shrines, abandon houses, junk, neon, shiny things, and anything else that amuses me at the moment, are subject to my lens and my whim. I will often stop right in the middle of what I am doing or where I am going to shoot (much to my wife's well-tempered and forgiving chagrin).
