In the past my photos were for chronicling traditional family events. Others were typically used for reference or documenting my art. Photography was my grown daughter’s medium. Painting was mine.

But as I was exploring the possibilities for the new site, and the blog, I became more aware of photography’s potential. I began dabbling in digital photography and found a lot of inspiration from the contributors and groups here. I think it is good creative exercise to explore new perspectives. The people I’ve encountered in the Flickr community have made it fun as well!



(If you browse through my 'Favorites' you may notice alot of red and white stripes. I'm not sure how it got started, but I am having fun with the concept. Not that I haven't thought of other shots as 'faves' )
