It should be pretty obvious by looking at my pages that I love taking self-portraits and doing photo manipulations...and I also have a thing for intense colors - that's another no-brainer!
Why am I so obsessed with self portraiture? I was recently asked if it was about loving myself. I told this person that self-love had nothing to do with my obsession. Those who know me personally will tell you that I am anything but vain. It is about self expression - a way for me to vent when I'm feeling a bit sad, seductive, moody, or angry. I also like to do it when I am gothed out, having a good hair day, or just plain bored! It is also about capturing something interesting & unique. If I want to create, I need not look for a model, I am always available. I have always been a natural ham, & love to pose, so In addition to all of the above, for me this hobby is just plain fun!
I'm an intensely passionate person ...I believe that comes out in my work. I also tend to be very fun & flirtatious by nature - I am a playful, viviacious soul - it is just the way I am ...please do not take it too seriously. I will not change who I am to suit anyone, so if you or your significant other cannot deal with this, please do not add me. I am here to share my work and make friends with similar artistic interests. My sincerest apologies if I have ever given anyone the impression of otherwise...
What else do I do besides take photos & manipulate them? I am a photographer by profession. I am a freelance photographer, a certified rose expert affiliated with the American Rose Society and an accredited rose judge - yes, I really am a rose judge! I talk about this on some of my photos here & there.
For those of you wishing to add me, please keep in mind that although I have no problem with tastefully done erotic art, I am not interested in porn...do not take offense, but I get a lot of this type of mail, and I am simply not interested.
