I'm an engineer that's going to save the world!

I'm a business analyst for a grain belt food company in Minnesota. I knew my foodie ways was gonna damn me, one day! and it was obvious that I would be an analyst - I do analysis in my sleep if I had to. But I don't. (phew!)

In my free time, I write restaurant reviews/ cover events for the Uptown Newspaper in Minneapolis, work on Ethiopia Water Supply project as well as Honduras Water Supply project with Engineers without Borders - twin cities chapter.

I recently adopted a Black Labrador Retriever- his name is Digby and he might just kill you with cuteness.

I'm an RPI enginerd that has not one, but two engineering majors, Industrial | managerial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in addition to that, I randomly decided to minor in Marketing and Economics.

Just so you know, I don't like engineering but I've stuck with it because of the principle of the matter, but I don't know which principle that is, for the matter. I don't quit. Ever.

I recently realized though that I'm as engineer-y as they come - for everything that I do; whether it be cooking, or gardening - I reverse engineer everything and then design something more efficient in it's place.
It's all about efficiency!

I'm a strong advocate for Engineers without Borders, Engineers for a Sustainable World and Empowering Women Engineers. For someone who doesn't seem to like "engineering much I have loads of orgs that I frequent.

I am also an advocate for the prevention of domestic violence whether mentally and physically. Here's my hand, hold it, and I'll get you thru it.

I'm a Guyanese-born, Indian New Yorker who somehow randomly found herself falling madly in love with the twin cities.

I'm Indian, Guyanese, West Indian, South American, American, New Yorker. So there, that's how that's going to be. My identity is a major issue for me, since it seems to always confuse me.[and well, you]

My family has the ability of driving the most sane person, [that would be me] totally insane. That being said, on a serious note, I have 3 sisters and a mom and a dad. Don't feel sorry for my dad, he PMS-es more than all of us!

I think one day I would make a great mom - but for now I'm happy being the most awesome aunt ever to my nieces and nephew.

The way to my heart is through my stomach, preferably desserts.
Feed me!

I have a tormenting relationship with my hair. Well, if you had raging communism sprouting from your scalp that's 3+ feet long, you'll feel my pain.

I'm an advocate of lateness, sleeping late, arriving late? Oh yeah, baby.

I have a growing obsession with mangoes and avocados.
Yeah, I don't understand it either.

When in doubt, just dance.

I <3 NYC.

P.S> here
are pics of mine that have made it to the mysteriously explore pool.

Please try not to stalk my life.

The end.
