Hello!
I'm a graphic designer by day, and an aspiring artist by night *and I blog about all the things that weave in and out of my path here. I am drawn to capture images that reflect a mood or simplicity - and mostly it is those in-between moments of chaos and wonder.

Photography puts me in the moment. It invites me on an adventure to observe life around me. Film photography has become an even deeper practice of meditation, through slowing down and detaching from the outcome.

I shoot mainly with a Canon Digital Elph P&S, but am becoming more smitten with my Ricoh SLR. I shoot occasionally with my Polaroid Spectra or SX-70. Instant gratification is nice, too!

I am struck by quiet, languid moods, stories of survival, the human condition, everyday life, and often just the warmth of the sun. I live in Los Angeles with my musician husband and our twenty-one year old cat. I hope to one day live a simple life inside a yurt surrounded by lots of trees and books.
