"December of 2006, I walked into my favourite digital camera store and bought a Nikon L3 and a bunch of other stuff to give as a gift. Little did I know the monster I was about to create.
In the space of half a year my dear mother has gone from "occasionally snap happy with a disposable camera" to a full-on no-holds-barred Flickrite with friends all over the freakin' planet. She has more contacts than *I* do!!!!! And I hate to admit it, but some of her stuff is pretty freakin' good. In fact it's amazing. I keep calling her up on the phone and saying "So!! You bumped the saturation up on that pic eh? Wow, it looks amazing!" To which comes the reply "Huh?" Somebody else wrote in a testimonial that she shares her life in her photos. Let me further attest... the photos are UNEDITED! The results she gets are what she shoots. It's all natural talent.
