General banter about me

I am fairly unorthadox in my photography pursuits.
However i do tend to obide by a few rules and consideration.

The rule of three, where you isolate the main subject into one of the frames thirds. Another is light, this can provide you with solar flares, interesting contrasts between shadow and light and silohutte natural landscapes. You have to keep in mind the purpose, why are you taking the picture, have you got the right angle, experiment with diagonals, would the picture look better if you waited for the stranger to move over to the left of the picture and if the picture would look better with a high exposure or maybe under a sepia filter.

I have half my heart in the digital world and the other resides back in the day with the film camera and typical 6x4 prints.

I love the ability to take endless digital shots and get rid of them just as easily, but they never seem to get printed and remain trapped on a usb or somewhere in my harddrive and as technology advances, those images of one rainy day walking along the south bank in london will be lost to just mere memories.

This problem you do no ecounter with film photography, as
you carefully consider each image, despite the inability to observe the photo immediately, their is nothing better than opening the still warm envelop, after a trip to jessops or boots and paying the usual seven pounds or so and being suprised and pleastanly delighted by every picture.
You then have a hard copy of your wanderings and ponderings to keep and share around. This can then just as easily be scanned and turned digital.
