I am (obviously, from my photos) not a photographer, but I appreciate those who are. Any really good photos on my photostream are either accidents or were taken by my husband and shamelessly posted by me.

I mark a lot of Flickrfolk as contacts just so I can see their new photos when they come out. Don't feel obligated to make me a contact in return. I will not be offended, as I said, I'm not that good!

I love reading other Flickrfolks' profiles.

I feature a different artist each time I blog. I choose under-represented, under-appreciated or under-marketed artists:
www.waterloggedblog.blogspot.com

If you know of someone who fits that description, leave his or her information in the comments section of the blog and I'll look into them...this is the only way I accept artist references. Their art or talent can be in any genre at all. Please don't suggest yourself...this is about helping others.

Air traffic control feeds my family, silversmithing feeds my soul. I'm a union activist (NATCA), jewelry craftsperson, infrequent cook, avid scuba diver, big-dog mom, intrepid traveller and a really crappy golfer.

I am an under-represented jewelry artist myself and would love for you to visit my site:

www.joiabela.com

If you're a web developer and would like to trade jewelry for web design services, I would love to work a trade. If you've gotten this far you know my web skills are exactly ZERO! Have your people call my people and we'll do lunch.

A gallery of my jewelry can also be found at www.missouriocean.com

My favorite charity is Reef.org. I donate 100% of the proceeds of jewelry sold at the following web shop to them: modcustomjewelry.etsy.com

I have lived all over the USA from the New York to Hawaii and also in Brazil and have settled (for now) in Missouri. I miss the ocean and am going through withdrawal. There's no ocean in Missouri, but I keep thinking if I wish reeeeeeally hard one might appear!

My husband is retired from the Army and spends his time taking care of me and our two dogs and playing golf. I can't retire until 2013 and I am very envious of him. He takes incredible underwater photos and features his photography at www.jeffngini.zenfolio.com

I still attempt to mangle the beautiful Portuguese and Spanish languages from time to time. Up until now I've traveled to approximately 40 foreign countries and plan to see many more once I'm retired.

I graduated from Methodist and Campbell Universities (both in NC) and majored in Accounting, Spanish and Business Admin...none of which I can use for my regular job.

I have two gorgeous and sweet stepdaughters, 22 and 24. They live too far away in Georgia.

I love dogs, especially Greater Swiss Mountain dogs, but almost any dog will get more attention from me than a human. Just ask my mother-in-law.

I have too many hobbies and not enough time to do them. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

I don't really think anyone has read all of this. If you have, let me know.

I don't mind if you use my photos in a blog or some such thing, as long as you're not making money on it (as if!) without sharing with me, and as long as you credit me with the photo. I'd also like to know about it so I can brag to my friends.
