I was born and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee. When I was 9 years old, my grandfather taught me how to scrollsaw. I would go over to his house and make things like desk clocks, wall hangings, coasters, and Christmas ornaments. For several years, this was the only type of woodworking I did. By the time I was 12, I bought my first (and only... so far) scroll saw using my life savings plus some help from my parents. Over the next decade I made some other machinery purchases and expanded my repertoire to include children's toys and puzzles, a bed, and now wooden wedding rings. I recently got married to my love, Molli. She is currently attending Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN where I graduated from with a degree in Biophysics. She loves to work with kids and is deciding between becoming a nurse or a teacher.
