I am new to the world of photography. Well, SLR, that is. I have faithfully used a point-and-shoot since 1996, when I first owned a decent one. I switched to the world of digital in 2005 (a late bloomer, I realize). I started taking pictures with a Canon Digital Rebel 300D in January '08. I have yet to take the bugger outside!

I am open to tips, tricks, and anything you can teach me!
