I started off photography couple of years ago with a rather simple Sony T33, then moved on to a Sony H5 in Aug. 2006 and after using it for about year, I finally bought my first DSLR on 4th Oct 2007.

I got a Canon 40D with a Tamron 18-250mm Lens and a Canon 430EX, along with a Ebay Wireless Flash Transmitter and I'm loving it so far. I bought a Canon 50mm 1.8 Lens recently, and its pretty amazing for the price.

I have recently got an interest for manual lenses and have bought a few M42 lenses which I use on my 40D with the help of an adaptor. The lenses I've got are a Hanimex 300mm f/5.5, Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35mm f/2.4, and Carl Zeiss 135mm f/3.5 The Carl Zeiss lens are the sharpest lenses I've ever used and its hard to handle other lenses once you've used them. I've also got 61mm of M42 extension tubes for macro photography.

As for my style of photography, my favourite styles are Strobist-style, Portraits, and Landscapes. Second preference would be Sports and Macro although I am always open to trying out new styles.

Photography is a passion and I'm open to meeting fellow enthusiastic photographers.
