The photos on these FLICKR pages are about the town of Mistretta, Sicily and my family as I remember it. These FLICKR pages are dedicated to my parents, Illuminato and Filippa and their life in Mistretta. My father, Illuminato, was born in Mistretta, Sicily in 1920 and lived there until 1951 when he emigrated to Canada. My mother, Filippa, and I emigrated in 1953. I returned to Mistretta in 1977 with my husband and we visited my relatives in Mistretta. These photos tell the story.
