~Lilac_Rain~ says:
"Gennevieve, to me, expresses herself the most through her photagraphy. As I have said before each photo is almost like a paragraph in a diary. Expressing emotions in ways I could only dream of, Gen has inspierd me to be dareing, emotional, risktaking, and even beautiful. I remeber when Gen first started photagraphy. She wanted the world to see her and see things the way she saw things. She is still very much the same way. every new photo I see that Gen has taken has be a blast of emotion; As if there was a heart renching story behind each one. A story with expressive words I couldn't even make up. I guess that's the word for Gen... expressive. Gen sees things through a different shade of light than other people, and not many understand. I couldn't even understand myself. but the only way to really know what Gen is feeling is looking at her pictures. It's almost like looking inside her. Full of beauty, emotion. You don't know Gen until you've seen her pictures. I look forward do see what else gen will do. wether in photography of not... I'm proud.

"I greatly admire Gen’s photography – its refreshing.
Gen has the unique abiltiy to mix humor with drama to create beauty. Gen’s application of innocense and ingenuity to real life circumstances creates dramatic heartfelt imagery. Her creativity with people and objects is well beyond her years.
Thanks for all of your thought provoking compositions Gen.
Your brilliance continues to inspire us all!"14th August, 2007

Elizabeth Salib says:
"Though it seems Gen is relatively new to the photography scene, at least in comparison to one who's had decades of practice in the field, she has a relatively high advantage over even the most experienced photographer. There's somewhat of a subtle genius to her photos. An eye for photography does not even begin to describe what her skill extends to. Her works show reflection and inner depth, something which even centuries of playing around with a camera could not get some people. It's not only personality that seeps through, but this highly uncommon intelligence of emotion and thought. Even those shots which seem to the standard photorapher flawed in composition are a work of utter perfection in their emotional communication to their audience.
Keep going Gen, and I daresay that once you've hit perfection in the technicalities of photography, which shouldn't take someone like you very long, combined with this "subtle genius," you'll turn the world upside down."6th August, 2007

"I don't know how long Gen has been photographing for, but in my humble opinion she takes pictures that are way beyond her years. Her photography seems to me to be so deeply personnel, and filled with her emotions. I am often deeply moved by her photography, in a way that is hard for me to describe. I just know it touches me in a very real way. Here's hoping she continues to work on her craft, and let's us enjoy her work for years to come. The world needs more artist's like her."
