I was born and raised in Minnesota and, despite the freezing freezing cold, I love Minneapolis something fierce. Last year, I moved to Los Angeles for the noblest of reasons: true love, which I mean in a literal sense and not as some lame metaphor for making it big in the biz. I assure you, this is the real deal. After the requisite culture shock, I am learning to love this city, too. After all, it is God's Country.

I am a grad student who will soon be called doctor; a theatre director, dramaturg, and sometimes puppeteer; a proud cat owner; a bicycle enthusiast; an aunt (and a sister and a daughter, but it's The Most Fun to be an aunt); a knitter; a reader; and above all else, a procrastinator.
