I am the mad scientist and resident ghoul girl behind Black
Cat Burlesque and La
Gata Negra wrestling along with my favorite monster man, Mister Reusch (www.misterreusch.com)
and the wicked antics of Mary Widow and J. Cannibal. My hobby is forgetting
names and phone numbers. My idea of a good time is spending the day in bed watching
monster movies (go Toho!) while eating Wing It! wings and ice cream and cuddling
with wacky pets and a cute artist boy. I keep meaning to secede from the nation,
but I'm too often distracted with throwing giant horror spectacles , wrestling
extravaganzas and incurring hideous amounts of debt. I am the laziest busy person
you will ever meet.
Stuff I Love: It's all about a boy and his dog these days. We are radioactively
happy and have more interesting things littering our floors than most folks
have in their whole house.Wrestling, masked and otherwise. UFC. Blood, Gore
and not taking it all so seriously. Lists, surveys and Halloween. Hamming it
up, photo ops, absurdity, fake hair, animal suits, reckless flirtation, and
the feminine form (all of 'em). Morgues, casket rooms, hearses and passive revenge.
Friends who say what they mean. Being Angela's Go-Go mama. Vintage erotica,
genuinely tough dames and old men's mags. Costumes, wearing masks, tomfoolery
and ear wax removal. Power Bombs, From Parts Unknown, shimmying and cutting
a rug. Pawtucket, sacred land of dollar stores, thrift shops, discount outlets,
drive thru liquor stores and hot weiners. I'm awful fond of my rack. Cartoons.
I enjoy cable immensely. Health and dental insurance. I think HOV lanes
are a joke but zipper trucks are just about the coolest thing; I'm still fascinated
by the pneumatic delivery tubes at drive thru banks. Drive Thru Anythings are
one of the few things that make me damn proud to be an american. I think Steve
and Terri Irwin have the world's most perfect marriage. NPR, puppy snores, custom
porn, coffee (well, caffeine, really)lingerie, corsetry and go-go boots. Sleeping,
honey roasted chex mix, psychopharmeceuticals, ADD, midnight bursts of manic
creativity, Bananas Foster Haagen Daaz and averaging twice a day. Scooters,
gadgets and GPS. People who put themselves out there. David
Cross and Jack Black. Fixing things.
Stuff I Hate: Bush, the seeming inability of the democratic party to
get their shit together and the two-party political system. Chris Masters and his ilk. Catty women, cowards,
the willfully stupid, the two-faced (unless it's King Ghidora, and he has 3).
My inability to focus, synaptic misfires and bar-flying. People who whine and
complain but never do anything to change what it they protest so vehemently.
Designer labels (paying extra money to give free advertising to some sweat shop
impressario is just silly), ADD, panic, red tape, city government, blind idealism,
my credit history and the work-sleep-eat-die ethic. The Bored and Insecure are
the true enemy. Routine.
