Mark Hiser says:
"dbmartin is one of the most original photographers I see here on Flickr. His self-portraits, especially, are exciting and fresh. I have watched his work grow more interesting and exciting day by day and look forward to the future."

good morning stradivari says:
"When I see db martin's images, it's like I'm looking at photos that have been poured out from a pitcher and spilled onto the computer screen canvas. They are full, rich and have the power to keep you drawn in. His understanding of light and his subject transcends much of what I have seen in the photography world. His messages through this wordless art speak loudly and illicit strong emotions within his viewers."

* Honest * says:
"dbmartin in my opinion is one of the greatest photographers i have seen yet. His body is his inspiration.. and a great inspiration it is.
His understanding of it and how to capture it is phenominal !
He speaks the complex language of Light, shadow, form, compositon, texture, tone.. through his images which ALWAYS take my breath away !
He is a TRUE artist. My favourite artist.
A quote by Ansel Adams which reminds me of dbmartin's $ublime Photographs:-
"You don't take a photograph, you make it."
- Ansel Adams (American photographer, 1902-1984)"21st March, 2005

tom_the_greek! says:
""There is one purpose to life and one only: to bear witness to and understand as much as possible of the complexity of the world - its beauty, its mysteries, its riddles. The more you understand, the more you look, the greater is your enjoyment of life and your sense of peace. That's all there is to it. If an activity is not grounded in 'to love' or 'to learn,' it does not have value."
...but I think that Martin already knows that and you can feel it through his amazing work... Keep shooting!"8th February, 2005

Kariobinja says:
"I like the work of this boy,it's charming how he watches that around him,winning how he seems to examine every detail studying the best way to stand it out.
Then,if you have the luck to get a comment of him to one of your photoes,you'll be amazed.He can appreciate every single angle of your picture.
I think he's very fine, clever and i like for his care and precision."11th January, 2005
