Hello, i'm Michelle.

I'm 27 years old, and live in a sleepy village near Bath, in South-West England.

I'm a big fan of japanese stuff including music, tv, anime, manga, fashion and kawaii stuff. I love gaming, particularly music games and japanese rpgs, and i like to make stuff (mostly out of paper, card and felt).

I'm a big fan of Death Note, much to my wallets contempt. Branching from this i have an expensive obsession : the nendoroid figures. This is slowly becoming a 'anything good-smile touch turns to gold' mentality.

I'm doing Japanese at evening classes - I've just passed GCSE Japanese this summer, and am now studying for JLPT 4 and AS level.

I take a lot of pictures of the cute things that I get. This is mostly so that when I inevitably accidentally destroy them I still have a picture.

I'm a big fan of the Japanese brand Cram Cream and love nearly everything they produce, particularly the homewares stuff. I also love Hello Kitty and most of Sanrio, particularly Cinnamoroll and Tenorikuma. San-x (especially Nyan Nyan Nyanko), Kamio, Qlia, Crux, Swimmer, Decole and Artbox are also amongst my faves. I love designer toys, particularly little figures, and toys/designs by Rolito and Tokidoki. I love to try candy/sweets/chocolate from around the world, particularly strange flavours, but nothing with nuts in.

Kawaii stuff I love : big chunky memo pads, sticker sacks, origami paper and lucky star strips, bags and pouches, homewares, bento goods, deco tape, letter sets, stamp sets, fabric, containers, accessories, phone straps & little figures.

Kawaii goods I don't like: Disney, Diddl, die-cut memos, skulls, fake goods (although I don't mind what country things are from as long as they're cute), items with pics of real dogs.

PLEASE NOTE : The items in my photos are my personal collection and are not for sale. If you want to know where I got a particular item from, leave a comment or send me a flickrmail and I will let you know.

I finally got a good camera (Canon ixus 70) in August 2007, so any photos taken before that may well be unceremoniously bad. I'm slowly retaking any ones I can, but it's a slow process.
