I've loved Photography all my life, but only recently was I able to dedicate enough time to it that I could actually progress toward becoming the photographer I want to be. I'm not quite there yet, but at least I'm closer than I was yesterday. I have digital photography to thank for this. But ironically, I now find myself shooting some film and lusting over old cameras. Each medium has its idiosyncrasies, and I enjoy them both in different ways. It's not an either/or for me.
I don't consider myself a brand snob. Every brand has pros and cons, and it's just a case of finding the one that best fills your needs. For me, that brand is currently Pentax, which is why I also contribute to Yvon Bourque's Pentax DSLRs blog on matters sometimes related to Pentax. You can find those articles here.
