my pro account is up on january 3rd, 2009. i'm not going to renew it right now because i can't justify the $30 right now. i don't use flickr as much as i used to, mostly for the same reason i stopped blogging a few months ago: oversaturation, not adding anything to the dialogue, etc. there are just SO many people here now that i don't really have anything unique to show anyone and so i can't really develop a sense of community, even within the groups that i belong to. and that was the whole point of something like this. to me, anyway.
i'll still post pictures of stuff i've knitted or sewn or crafted, and random moblogs of me looking like a doof, but that certainly doesn't require a pro account.
