Born in 1985 at Oulu, Finland, as a second son of a stevedore. After working as a bartender for several years and burning out all nicely with the job, I decided to quit it and go away for three months. After spending a month in Germany and two months under the sun of Southeast Asia, the world already looks a whole lot better. New job (following my fathers footsteps as a stevedore), new life.

Camera goes where I go. No games, just photos. When I go out, I just grab my camera and have fun. Photography is not my daytime job, and I rarely get paid for it, so I try not to make it a job.

I rarely go out "to take photos". I just keep my camera with me and if something worth of shooting comes up (usually does), I just take a picture. That's how I do it.

I usually don't edit my photos much. I try to keep my photos as they come from the camera. Sometimes I do some cropping or some minor adjustments, but that's all. I'd rather spend my time with the camera than with Lightroom or Photoshop.

And no, I don't carry them all around when I go out. Usually I walk around with my D80 with one lens (50mm f/1.8D). That's all I really need. I don't enjoy carrying heavy equipment that much, I'd rather spend that time taking photos and save the space for my hammock.
