I moved to South Africa in september 2004 to work here as a journalist. I never left. At the moment I am working for various publications in and outside of South Africa (both text and photographs).
Please please PLEASE: If you intend to use some of my pictures - PLEASE ask first. Bear in mind the following: we freelancers need to earn a living. As much as I would like to - I simply cannot give away my photographs for free. Firstly, I need to make a living. A credit line is great - and it goes without saying that we are credited for our work - but in the end of the day being mentioned does not pay the bills.
Secondly, by giving my images away for a credit only, I am spoiling the market for myself and other photographers out there.
