* We try to grab pieces of our lives as they speed past us. Photographs freeze those pieces and help us remember how we were. We don't know these lost people but if you look around, you'll find someone just like them.
* Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of humankind.
* You know that feeling when you wake up in the morning and you're excited for the day? That's one of my main goals in life.
*I've been suffering from short-term memory deficit. The advantage of a bad memory is that I enjoy several times the same good things for the first time. :)
* Love is the difficult realization that something other than oneself is real.
* I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map so it won't fall down. *
