Gözde Türkkan alias mimiko's photography works focuses on gender politics, identities & sexualities through a subjective documentary approach. Holding a BA degree from Istanbul Bilgi University's Photography and Video Department, she taught photography courses as an instructor in the academic year 2008/2009 in the same department. Graduated in 2010 from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, MA Fine Art in London. She has exhibited in London, Paris, Hong Kong and Vienna in group shows and in Istanbul in solo shows.
