A unique parade unlike anything you've ever seen is about to burst onto the scene. Join us on August 8 in Washington Park for the All-City People's Parade and Pageant, exploring themes of the economy, ecology and peace in our neighborhoods. These photos show some of the giant puppets and parade floats being constructed right now! Milwaukee Public Theatre and Milwaukee Mask and Puppet Theatre lead this community-building arts project. Parade kicks off at 10 am from Wick Field, 51st and Vliet, Saturday August 8, 2009.
