Images you see here might have been shot with my trusty . Actually, that one went AWOL and I got a Canon Powershot S3, at which stage the G6 reppeared in my luggage. Oh well :-). However, the screen of the G6 died, and the S3, well, doesn't always cut it. So, when the quarterly bonus was good, I equipped myself both with an additional Canon a650 for the quick point and shoot, ending up never using it, my housemate seems to enjoy the thing, as well as a new baby, an Eos 450D with a Sigma 18-200 objective. I recently added a Sigma 10-24 wide angle, which is great fun.
I positively hate flash, so yes, I'll do stuff in higher ISO's. Latest source of fun is the discovery that shooting in monochrome @ 1600 ISO with a stabilized lens can make a lazy photographer really happy as you can do stuff without needing to bother with a tripod. That doesn't stop me from taking my miniature Kullman with me wherever I go, earning me the ire of many security officers at airports who think it's a machinegun stand.

When unsatisfied, I edit with Paint Shop pro. (photoshopping is a verb). I enjoying toying with Photomatix, and recently started toying with dptfsgui. Hugin is also my friend for pano stuff.
