To me, photography is capturing bits and pieces that make up my world.
I got this understanding of the medium when my nephew at three years old was handed a camera and I saw the results. He'd taken pictures of his closest family and his favorite toys - two elements that take up a large part of his world as he knows it.
So when I take pictures of Axl Rose, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the food I eat, I am doing the exact same thing. Although perhaps on a different level, but it doesn't seem that different at all.
