Hello, my name is Mikhail Douglas Ong Quijano, 24, still growing (hopefully!) and learning!

I have always been in love with the arts. I am a psychology graduate, but my fuel is art. I am a self-taught graphic designer and photographer, with my father's old books on film and cinematography as a source of inspiration.

I have always been driven to explore the intricacies of human emotions. Feelings fascinate me. Through the course of the yeas I've realized that art present emotions in such a different light, such a different color, that the common sadness or laughter becomes more than just that. Art makes one's laughter the epitome of everybody's laughter. Art makes a single drop of tear the entire world's.

The whole spectrum of human emotions, dreams and illusions are things that I wish to dissect through photos. I am particularly fond of eyes, and of natural light.

Paolo Roversi remains to be my favorite photographer. His work -- the rawness of them all, the grain, the uncommon depth of field, and the other little nuances of his photos -- are truly inspiring.

I am available for commissioned work; conceptualizing and shooting portfolios, editorials and portraits are things I am most passionate about.
