Mike Litwin is an award-winning illustrator who combines oil glazing, colored pencil, collage, and other mixed media to create scenes that serve the imagination and education of children. His often wacky, always delightful style is a versatile and unique blend of playful innocence and devilish mischief. Litwin's rascally, roly-poly characters come tumbling out of a wild imagination whose flames are stoked by both heartwarming whimsy and apocalyptic fairy tales. Illustrating and telling stories for children is his passion, his privelage, his entertainment, and his dream. Litwin's fun and original approach is sure to captivate kids of all ages--from the ones who have yet to grow up to the ones who refuse to.

A graduate of the East Carolina University School of Art, his clients include Houghton Mifflin Company, Highlights for Children, Monkey Barrel Press, East magazine, Covevnant Church, CSM Restaurant Services, Finchmore Farm, Lighthouse Publications, and East Carolina University. He currently lives in Greenville, North Carolina with his wife and two daughters.
